From the Federal Council of the Federación Obrera Regional Argentina we inform: that comrade Sebastian Mateus of Colombian nationality, who during his stay in Buenos Aires was affiliated to the Sociedad de Resistencia de Oficios Varios Capital – FORA, in his current work as an independent journalist-photographer of “SubVersión- Colectivo Contrainformativo”, has been arrested by the Colombian police.
In the framework of the general strike, on June 9, in Fontibón- Bogotá, COLOMBIA, where indigenous communities were gathered, he was arrested and taken to the police station at the El Dorado airport. The latest news is that he will be transferred to the URI – Immediate Reaction Unit – for prosecution, they still do not want to say what criminal charges will be made against him.
We make a request for National and International Solidarity to the Human Rights Organizations, social and political organizations, to sign and spread the situation through which the comrade is going through.
