SUPPORT OUR STRIKE IN THE FACTORY OF JEREMIAS CHIMNEYS!
Support the strikers at the Jeremias chimney factory! On 3 June we went on strike to demand a wage increase and improved working conditions.
The factory in Gniezno (Poland) is part of a multinational company called Jeremias Abgastechnik GMBH. We produce, among other things, the parts necessary for the operation of the German plant. The parent company has tripled its revenues, and its board of directors have distributed among themselves substantial amounts of cash. In addition, the company benefits from important public subsidies. Well, it is high time that part of that money, which we have contributed to create, went into our pockets! We also demand conditions similar to those of the German workforce. A more detailed explanation can be found here (in Polish): https://ozzip.pl/informacje/wielkopolskie/item/3100-strajk-jeremias
We hope that management will agree upon this, rather than risk perpetuating this conflict. However, after eight months of fruitless negotiations and the dismissal of two of our union representatives, the time has come to call a strike. If you want to help us win this fight, contribute any amount to our strike fund!
According to Polish law, striking workers do not receive any wages for the days not worked. Our low wages do not allow us to cover our expenses and our families’ during the strike. Therefore, we ask you to support us if you can and help us win this fight. Thank you in advance for all your help. You can donate here: https://zrzutka.pl/m2xrgk
